Jesup Police charged Jose Angel Rosales, 25, of Waterloo. Rosales was charged with Providing False Information to a Pease Officer (Serious Misdemeanor). Rosales was also cited for a speed violation, having no driver’s license, and fraudulent use of plates. These charges were made following a traffic stop at the intersection of Fourth Street and South Street.
Jesup Police took a report of Harassment in the 12000 blk of Barclay Road. This incident remains under investigation.
Jesup Police investigated a one vehicle accident at the intersection of First and Douglas. A 1999 Chrysler 300, driven by Jesseray Kirby of Independence lost control after jumping the RR tracks. The Kirby vehicle jumped the curb and entered a cornfield. Damage to the Kirby vehicle was estimated at $4,000. Kirby was cited for a Speed Violation and Failure to Maintain Control.
