Jesup Police charged Jose Angel Rosales, 25, of Waterloo. Rosales was charged with Providing False Information to a Pease Officer (Serious Misdemeanor). Rosales was also cited for a speed violation, having no driver’s license, and fraudulent use of plates. These charges were made following a traffic stop at the intersection of Fourth Street and South Street.

Jesup Police took a report of Harassment in the 12000 blk of Barclay Road. This incident remains under investigation.

Jesup Police investigated a one vehicle accident at the intersection of First and Douglas. A 1999 Chrysler 300, driven by Jesseray Kirby of Independence lost control after jumping the RR tracks. The Kirby vehicle jumped the curb and entered a cornfield. Damage to the Kirby vehicle was estimated at $4,000. Kirby was cited for a Speed Violation and Failure to Maintain Control.

Jesup Police investigated a motor vehicle accident at the intersection of Twelfth Street and D-22. A 2008 Chevrolet Malibu driven by Sherry Farber of Independence pulled into the intersection causing a 2007 Honda motorcycle driven by Martin Conerd of Independence to loose control. Farber was cited for Failure to Yield Right of Way.

Jesup Police arrested Anthony Jon Rindels, 45, of Waterloo. Rindels was charged with Driving While License Suspended (Simple Misdemeanor), Operating a non registered vehicle, and failure to have insurance. This arrest was made following a traffic stop in the 1100 blk Eighth Street.

Jesup Police Arrested and charged Reva Lyons, 38 of Dubuque. Lyons was charged with Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (Simple Misdemeanor) and Possession of a Controlled Substance, Marijuana (Simple Misdemeanor). Also arrested was Steven Kramer, 52, of Dubuque. Kramer was charged with Driving While License Suspended (Simple Misdemeanor), and Fred Tucker, 47, of Dubuque. Tucker was charged with Public Intoxication (Simple Misdemeanor). These arrests were made when Jesup Officers responded to a report of a possible stranded pedestrian walking on D-22.
